The Indian Auto Expo is in the league of the biggest automotive shows in the world.
But unless you are a true auto enthusiast, all excitement fades out post a few social media updates and almost everything starts feeling like a usual drill.
BRIEF
To redefine the way people explore brand exhibitions at global events, Kia Motors wanted to create awe-inspiring technology-driven experiences and engagements that can keep their guests engaged
and excited throughout their visit at the Indian Auto Expo 2020.
IDEA
As a brand that believes in innovation, we harnessed the power of Augmented Reality to dial up the excitement by bringing fiction to reality and gamifying the entire virtual universe at the Kia Pavilion.
We leveraged our brand-owned supervillain and let him take the center-stage with Shoo The Meerkat - an innovative AR Game designed to make the visitors explore the Kia Pavilion and knock down the Meerkat.
The Meerkat took all the spotlight by gate-crashing our competition with The Most Epic Brand Hijack Ever.
A unique Facebook Spark AR Camera Effect – Me with Meerkat, was designed for the Meerkat fans to
showcase their fandom across social media platforms using Instagram and Facebook Stories.
The ideas were developed to cater to mobile platforms which allowed us to track real-time data
and become the center of attention, at the Indian Auto Expo 2020.
